Headed for Bills Birthday dinner, He is now 71yrs old.

Here we go.... Headed to Santa Fe with the Willis 2, this is their bus, remember I told you that you would see her?  She is a pretty bus, and her name is Liberty!

Stopped in Santa Fe at a Wal~mart and Anne and I went shopping, then headed out for Bills 71st birthday dinner.  Come on along.

This is where we went, it is an old, restored adobe home that is a century old.  They have been serving authentic Native New Mexican food since 1965.

Above is Anne, she is hungry, and below, Ahhh... grasshopper, cool, huh? Wanted to stick it in my pocket, but it was to big! ha ha

The food was wonderful, I had Tamales, one chicken and one vegetarian, and let me tell you I would do the vegetarian ones only next time.  As usual when we eat where the food is different I take a picture, was half done, so Leroy took the picture for me!

Below is what some of the building is made of, all I know is I saw hay or straw in the mixture!

Here is the birthday boy and his bride,(not so blushing), notice the peppers hanging above us.

I thought this wheel was used for grinding, but after inspection, blocks were put together to look like a wheel.  That's OK it was pretty.

Below, an angel of some sort, has a spear and a fish, he is skinny enough I guess those wings could lift him!!!

Leroy and Anne Willis, great bus friends and thanks for sharing the time and Bills birthday with us.  They were heading home to surprise their daughter for her birthday, so left us soon after we got back from dinner.

We stayed another day,then headed for our next lake, Lake Abiquiui, New Mexico.  Now some of  the sights as we started out.       A wonderful, we believe, military gravesite.          

One thing I LOVE about New Mexico is their beautiful over passes, they are kept so well and are such a pleasure to view.  This is only one of many.
