Wahoo, headed for San Juan Capistano! Blog #1

Here we sit with the McAleers at a park in Mission Bay, and we are getting ready to head to San Juan Capistrano, I have always wanted to go there, so come on along...................

We saw these beautiful spirals from the freeway and just had to stop and find out what it was, it was really pretty.

Just look at those amazing windows, everything was perfect , right down to Gabriel blowing his horn, AHEM....... How would you like to be the one who shines his horn and keeps this pristine white??? NOPE, me neither, but it was pretty to look at.  There is another picture of those amazing windows below.

And of course the ocean, how can you not just Love the ocean?  The birds love it, the fish love it, the surfers love it, Hey, there has to be a song in there somewhere, right???

There were amazing trees , cacti and flowers there, you will see only a few that caught my eye!  Look how twisted this tree is, and the cactus below is about to burst into bloom, imagine how beautiful it is when it DOES bloom, yowza!!!

And of course the cars, but I have to admit, that's a pretty cool lookin' woody, huh??

Below is a bird of paradise flower, they were everywhere. Gorgeosus!!!!!

You know me, I LOVE houses and my specialty is boring you to death with all of them I see, as well as buses!  This old crown bus is still on the road as a school bus, can you believe that?  In Oregon we have to have new buses.  what a shame, this bus was quite handsome and well kept!  Well, if a bus can be handsome! ha ha!!

Some more gnarly trees, just scroll on down until you see Bills arm pointing to a special tree that Bob and Cindy wanted us to see, OK?

YEE HAW!! when boys see a tree like this they just have to climb up, well, one of the boys did anyway, there is always one! snicker!

Below you see the culprit as proud as punch, cute ain't he?

Look how bent and twisted the branches are in this tree, awesome!!!

LOVED this tree, it makes me look small, and do I like that, YOU BETCHA!!( smile)

, :Now, think about this, if you think you are old and bent and gnarly, just take a gander at this tree and you will  will feel like a young sprout again, well maybe not, but just think, this tree has been around a loooong time and we just need to keep smilin' like this old fella. RIGHT ?

 

And here is another cactus that was sort of overwhelming, I thought it was quite pretty, so wanted to share it with you.
