Yellow Pine Museum

The little red school house was so cute, it had been used until just recently, in fact, if you remember the lady who was in charge of the contest in the last blog, she taught there for quite a few years.  It is now a museum, and a really good one!   The sign below tells you a little about the school, I know, get out the magnifying glass, sorry.
Remember the treadle machines, and will you check out these waffle irons.  All are from the town of Yellow Pine, Id.
How many of you have good memories about making ice cream in the summer?  (the hard way) no going to DQ.  Cute salt & peppers, huh?  And beautiful China.  It was used up until the opening of the Museum.
I remember having one of these old stoves, it would at least keep the chill off!
How would you like to wrap your mouth around this harmonica, some folks DO have this big a mouth! ha ha, Not namin' names, so don't get excited!!  Need a lamp for the dark, here ya go!
If ya have good eyes you can read a few things folks had to say about winter in Yellow Pine, Id, back years ago.  It was great and I was SOoooo glad I wasn't there!
Below is something I don't think we have EVER seen, but what an amazing thing.  Had all kinds of hunting information, some we knew, some we didn't.
Ladies, can you imagine cooking like this all the time?  The pioneers & minors did.  How I thank God for propane and electricity!
Below you see a bell, well, by now you know that if there is a bell, Sweet William is gonna ring it!  And he did!  I  caught him at it, so decided to show you! (upper picture, look close!)
If you are ever in the area, go to the Yellow Pine Museum, it was really wonderful for the size.
That's all folks, until next time, Love, Hugs and Prayers, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy
