Hello all, I am back!!! Yee~HAW, had trouble with my air card, but have a new one soo onward and forward we go!!Here we are at Bob and Cindys, well, officially it belongs to their son Bobbie & wife Crystal. Anyway, we got settled in their driveway and the fun began, YOWZA, here we go!
Took some pictures of the cute lighthouse and the pretty yard, then.................
Then out came the floor in one of Bobs bus bays, don't worry, Sweet William is going to help him put in a NEW propane tank, hot water heater and separate areas for batteries etc........................
See, there the new floor is in already, only took them a whole day!! Always time for a smile, that's my Sweet William! Here you see their friend Mike being a straw boss, he was really good at it too! love the pointed finger! ha ha
The only way I got to see Bill besides dinner time was to go see what was going on, those of you who know him know that when he is doing a project, he is single minded!!
Below you see the cool new propane tank, all sparkly, at least for now!
poor Cindy, she was just sure they would never get done, her bus was a mess inside and out, so she came out to find out just what was going on, she needed reassurance!
Here you see the battery part of the bay, and the inverter, lookin' good guys, keep goin'!
Here ya see her new hot water heater, it is one of the kind that gives you instant hot water, I am a bit jealous, only a bit though! Whodys hot water heater does a great job!!!
By then it was time to take a break, so Bob & Cindy took us to see the hat and boots that use to sit alongside 99E, Bill thinks they were restrooms and possibly an eating place. He was just a kid then, so can't remember for sure. If ya look close there are two old folks under that hat!
Isn't Sweet William a cutey? And below, I decided to join him, these things are wonderful!! They have been fully restored, I love it when they restore legends instead of tearing them down.
And of course, the buses, always the buses, this was an old Brill, it was in use 'cause it had a current license, and looky here, it wants to grow up to be an Eagle!! You go little Brill!
NOW this fella is what they call a flexible flyer, it had not been in use for quite a while, but we loved it just the same.
Below you see a horse we found that was suppose to be part of the Ming dynasty????? They were cool tho.
They also had a bathtub looking thing that was suppose to be a sorta hot tub. Not sure, I didn't talk to the fella, the guys did, we only saw them through the fence, so who knows? Then they took us around and showed us a cool dining car from an old train, to bad it is just sitting doing nothing, it was awesome!!Now, how about this! These folks had put an old model A pickup as well as an old outhouse out front of their home, it was all lite up and as cute as it could be, how fun folks can be!Now Bill has gone to the inside of their bus, he is cutting out a place to add a catalytic heater, oh boy it's gona be warm!! That cuts down on the cuddling tho., keep that in mind! ha haAlmost in and Cindy will be able to clean up and get her house back in order. It still needs a hook for the door and to be connected outside to the propane, but it's lookin' good!!Woo Hoo, almost done, see all the doodads all hooked up? By the next blog you will see us headin' out to play again, so come on back and go with us!Now they have water, heat, HOT water and lotz of propane and are headed out to play for a while! See ya in Darrington, Washington!
Hugs, Prayers and smiles to all, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy (she was going nuts over all the kitty cats, she wanted to chase them all, all at once!)
