Here we are, our last leg of our journey in Utah, Bill, Bob and Cindy were almost red rocked out, but you know me, I wanted to finish looking, soooo...........Off we go! I put out 2 blogs today, so don't miss the other one.
This was an interesting story, get out your magnifying glass again!
Anyone remember these??
OOPS, stopped to look at the flowers, sorry, can't help myself, pretty, huh?
There they are, looks like them too!!
Another bus conversion, love it, not fancy, but they are out and about, that is all that matters!!
At an overlook.
Wow, will you just look at that scooped out place, oops, do I see a road?? NAW.
Love this stuff.
Boy would we love to do just that, Drop into the Canyon.
Well, maybe not to look for or herd cows, although that would be fun,
But that IS a road, see it?
Whoa, a whole fleet of ships, even looks like waves from the ocean at the foot of them!
We walked up to the outlook and saw this beautiful scene.
Looked down, and at the very top of the picture, there is a person, HOW did he get down there?? Hope this is the right picture, I am getting blind as a bat with no sonar!!
On the way down from the outlook I took a picture of Cindy, if you look close you can see her sitting in the car!
Again we walked up to a beautiful arch, they are everywhere, but the most in number are at the Arches Park.
Bob is taking a picture of a couple standing under the arch, nice guy!
And here are the dynamic duo, what a beautiful scene behind us! Amazing!
The next few pictures are taken from that arch, I will just let you look, OK?
Another arch, and.....
AbA picture taken a short walk away. It was covered with people most of the time.
We noticed the rain beginning to fall.....
but the sun was also shining across the valley, and there was still, that road.....
Soooo pretty, look at that cloud formation!
Neat fence.
These looked like huge footprints or hand prints, and all around them was white. There is what is called the white trail that you can drive, it is a 100 mile trip, and weather permitting it is really interesting, because you travel right on the edge of the white! Maybe next time, to far for today!!
This is a picture of how deep those prints are.
Here we are at the end of Canyon lands.
Some more 'prints". I found them fascinating.
A view from farther away. See the road that goes along the top of these amazing things?
Green River is just on the other side of the crevices. It is so beautiful from here, and there is that road ya know. Bill and Bob had to go to a ranger to find out where that road was and if we could get there. He showed them how and that is our next and final journey in the beautiful land of Utah!
Come on back, it was a great adventure for us, hope you will enjoy it too! Until then, Prayers, Love & Smiles, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy
