Hope you all had a Blessed Thanksgiving!!!! Here we are, leaving Lake Havasu City and heading for Parker. We were told it was the dam that make the Lake Havasu, and we wanted to head in that di-rection. As we drove along, the first thing I noticed, leave it to me, wat that the mountains look just like mounds of light and dark choclate, yummy!! We were still watching the lake as we went up,and saw a part of the dam, but the most notable thing to me was how there are little villages of mobile homes all along the hillside, just tucked in where ever there is a flat spot, and some where it isn't so flat, blew my mind!!

Here are a few examples of what I mean. They were beautiful places, with lotz of palm trees and most on the lake, amazin'!

Some not only had moble homes, but were open to RVers as well, pretty, huh??

There are my chocolate mountains again, and I couldn't resist taking it with our beautiful flag showing our colors. Note: diesel is $ 2.77 here, that is not the case further on down the road, SOB, SOB!!!!!

Here we are arriving in Phoenix, AZ., LOVE the palm trees!

Some of the bridges across the freeways are really artistic, so I took a few picts. of them for ya!

This was a favorite of mine, looks like a torcher chamber or something, but it really was quite exquiste from a far, I ain't skeerd of it!

When we got to Mesa where we had reservations in a campground, this is what greeted us, we are parked at the "guard house" waiting for permission to go in, now I ask you do you see ANY RV's? Me neither................ARrrrgh! Poor Bill, had to unhook the car, and He performed a miracle getting Whody in the spot, details and pictures later, you'll see!

But once in, it is a lovely park with a canal running along the back, with ducks

n' fish

'n cactus,

'n best of all, DOGS, so thought I would show you a few, don't know their names, but man are there some really cute faces! This one never uttered a sound, just looked as we strolled by.

Isnt she a beauty? She just "woofed" once, then just watched us go by.

OOPS............picture in the wrong spot, these girls were feeding the ducks at a park we went to, and the silly ducks were chasing them! They went clear up to the walkway and accross, until the gals ran out of food, then made an about face and headed back to the lake, to funny!

This dog was "walking" his human, but was really careful that he stayed right close to the little guy.

This feller let us know in no certain terms, "this is my territory, GET OUT!" Sooo...we did!

This cutie pie yapped the whole time, as did her brother!

Here is the intrance to the "Fountain Hills Park", and boasts of being one of the tallest fountains in the world. They have a lot of this kind of thing, and thought Sassy would "Just LOVE IT", ya right, but it does make a cute picture, right???

Come on gals, give this feller a BIIIG smooch, maybe he will be your prince charming, who knows, he sorta looks laid back and happy, don't ya think??

This was in the middle of the lake, but nuthin' was happenin', wouldn't ya know it, we JUST missed it, so we walked around the pard for 45min, what a treat, it was amazing, and then we saw......................

This!!!! then, SCROLL DOWN PLEASE.....

This, there was an incredible rainbow, and we stood and watched it for 15min. until it stopped, all I can say is WOW!

After that we took a drive up into the 'Fountain/Fort McDowell area, and along with some incredible houses, saw this beautiful sculptured Eagle, it was huge and very well done, beautiful, to say the least.

Not 10 miles further out, here sat 2 of the 'real things'. They were just sitting there watching traffic go by, huge, and quite beautiful too! Well folks, that's all for this time, but believe me, there is more
