Lake Havasu, we is still here!

Here we are, and the reason I haven't done a blog is cause this is what we have done for the last 4 days. Eat, sleep, eat, walk, etc. On one of our hikes we ended up on the highest point in the park, and this was our view, incredible!!

This was from our campsite showing that same boat that goes over to the California side to a Casino and a restaurant every hour on the hour. There were 2 boats that we were aware of, each one sounded like a train going by, and did so every night until midnight, all we missed was the "WOO,WOooooo" my favorite part, bummer!

This was our campsite at night, it was so pretty and peaceful, even with a camp full of people, most stopped whatever they were doing to sit and watch the sunset.

!

Hope you can see this little guy, these birds are not afraid of anything, not 10ft away,Bill was talking to a mailman, asking where the stiffs was, this guy walked right by them, Roadrunner, the coyotes after you..... We also saw several cross a busy street, the little goobers, but let me tell you, they can MOVE when they have to!!!

This is my little bun~bun, you can't see it, but his right ear looks like somebody mistook it for a piece of lettuce, OUCH, I fed him lettuce every day, and he loved it, even expected it, he kept a safe distance, but didn't seem to afraid of me.

The park we were in had a cactus garden, but this guy looked like he had stayed out to late the night before, even needed something to prop him up!

The next picture is what they called this, now I ask you, does this look like any pencil you ever saw, some eraser, whoa!

OWWwwwwwwwww, go ahead, just try and write me a letter!! Don't fall on this guy, he could really be a Hiney buster!

This was a really cool birdhouse made by a troop of boy scouts in the area, there was nobody home at the time, but understand there had been, sorry we missed them.

This was kind of cool, it had these nut things on it, as you will see below, and Bill just had to find out what was in them, soooo follow the pictures and you will see.................................................................................................................................

There are the nut thingies^

This is what came out of it, and*************

THIS is what came out of the red thing, not sure if it was edible, although Bill tried to get me to "just try it" , but the white thing was the hardest of all, kinda fun finding out.

This was really pretty and aptly named as you will see as you go further down.

Saw the hummingbirds hit this a few times, sure was a pretty bush.

Remember the steamboat I showed you from the other side of the river by the London Bridge, well this is it. We didn't go, but it was really cute and was playing Dixieland Music, so we almost gave in!

We spent the morning getting a bit of a look at Jolly 'Ol IEngland, blimey it was pleasin' ta see! This was a little refreshment coach, cute as could be, behind that is the London bridge, and it WAS indeed brought from London, piece by piece and reconstructed over here!! I know cause I read about it, surprised I can read???? ME TOO!!

Anyone remember these, wellll, maybe not quite like this, but this brought back some memories, the phone actually worked, felt just like yesteryear 'Ol Chap!

Oh, Oh, another underwater picture! The water was so shallow you could see all kinds of fish. You could see all kinds of fishermen too, Swim little fishys, Swim fast.

Now, talk about interesting, this guy had a sign on his door to call him is you wanted to go for a gondola ride, don't think so, we were surprised it was still afloat, it was in such disrepair, it would be more scary than romantic, guess each to his own, and my own said NADA!!

Here she is Miss Whody, with the sun shinin" on her real purty like. We were in a spot kind of away from most folks, but the walking trail went right by her nose, Sassy liked that, she could bark at everyone that went by, YEA.......

Every night Bill has built a fire, and we have roasted hot dogs, made hamburgers, and just sat and watched the Lake. Does that boy look happy or not???? I would say He does!

There is our fire pit, and we are cooking hamburgers, just past that split tree is the walking path, so had lotz of folks ask if "dinner was ready", always said there is plenty, but had no takers, "SNIFF" it would have been fun to entertain on the beach!

Last but not least, after dinner and when the fire had gone down a bit we roasted Marshmallows, my favoitest thing to do in the world. Bill likes 'em too. We have so enjoyed the good weather, the cool camp-site and the fire, but are moving on tomorrow, headed for Quartzsite,Az., then Phoenix, then, on the Texas! So keep on peekin' in, new things are a comin' they really are! Till then....Prayers, hugs and smiles to all of ya, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy

PS: the thing you were supose to see in the channel was a grocery basket, nobody played, BOO,HOO!!
