MISH~MASH, parts of the whole

Well Howdy Ya'll, well I AM in Texas!
Below you will see pictures that are parts of all the stuff Bill and I have been doing, so much that it is hard to get it all in. We are far enough away from things that pictures go on slow, so try to give the very best, or at least my favorites! This was taken on the way to a hot springs in Big Bend National Park, and yes, once again I was standing backwards, Bill had to stand behind me to keep me from falling over. Lucky I didn't get his nose hairs, he was pretty close! So keep going down, enjoy what is there, and when we have a down day, hope it's soon, Whody needs a thorough cleaning, I will stop where I can put more pictures on. The last week has been one place after another, each with a jillion pictures, that's His story, and each one takes quite a while to get on. Soooo enjoy what's here, and come on along next time.

You are now looking at the Rio Grande river, just on the other side is good old Mexico. You can no longer get there by way of the park, but you can wave at the folks across the river. (just kidding)

This was the same kind of cactus, I guess in different stages, not sure, but thought they were so pretty. OK, so I have a thing for cactus, it's the only thing I can grow!!

For all you gals, this was a graduation dress from the 1890's it was of such delicate lace I was surprised it was still together. It was a size 4!!! OBSCENE!!

Whiles we were in Ft. Stockton we went to a museum, and Bill just couldn't resist acting like he was on the phone in this old phone booth, I wanted him to change into Super Man, but Noooo, it was more than his powers could handle, RATZ!!

Thought you might want to see Whody, this was at Ft. Stockton.

On our way into Texas we stopped for lunch and to potty Sassy, and found this web and a very large hole in the ground, when I saw a hairy leg, I said to Sassy, MOVE AWAY FROM THAT HOLE!!! EEEuuh!!!! Glad it wasn't in my back yard like it was in Jeff & Nans in Argentina!!(our Son, for those who don't know)

This picture was taken in Big Bend National Park, around Marathon, TX.,Bill thought it looked sorta like a castle, but I wouldn't want to live waaayy out there, castle or no. I'll take Whody any day!

That is a Javalina, pronounced (Hav-uh-lee-nuh)to me they look like a wild boar , but they say they aren't related to any kind of pig. Who knew?????

Just want to know if anyone can tell me what this is?? I will take any and all ideas! Bet ya can't guess!!!!!
This guy is Paisano Pete, He is the worlds largest Road Runner, an we found him in Ft. Stockton, Tx., However, This is the real guy, and He just dared us to scare him away! They are so cool, and boy can they boogie!!!
If you look close you will see some wild turkeys that we found on our trip through Big Bend National Park, actually we were looking for Javalinas.
Well folks, hope you enjoyed runnin' around with us, see ya next time, tomorrow we are going to Ft.Davis, TX. Zowie, can hardly wait, am told it is spectacular! So SEE YA! Love, Prayers and Smiles to all, Arlette & Bill and the HOT Sassy. Its in the middle 80's here!
