Well folks, that's all for tonight, just keep reading down and you will get it all, maybe double pictures too, who knows, I'm still larnin', as they would say in Louisiana! Get ready for tomorrow when you will meet some of my Cacti friends like this. I will try to tell you what they are , but don't count on it! Love,Prayers and smiles to ya all! Arlette & Bill too, and the unhappy, I wanna be on your lap Sassy!!
This was taken as we were walking home after our walk in the park, it was so pretty, and warm. I was in my shirt sleeves, and of course Bill had on a sweat shirt, the goober!

Here we be, all parked and ready for a full day tomorrow looking at the outrageous Cacti in this area.

Forgot to take a picture of the campground we stayed at last night, it was SPENDY,but nice. Decided to find a cheaper place to stay so we parked Whody just off the highway in a safe spot and headed for the Saguaro National Park.
Well looking around, we found a SUPER campground called the Gilbert Ray. We were told they wouldn't take anything over 36ft., but we went and asked, and they said sure, come on, we have just the place for ya! WHOO,HOO, it is just Amazing!
Whiles we were in Old Town Yuma, we stopped at a farmers market and got this. It is a cross between cauliflower and carrot, sooooo, what do you call it? Caulirot, Carroflower? They didn't tell us, the taste was only of a slightly less strong, cauliflower, no carrot taste. But.....we are gona cook it and see if it tastes different then... will let you know!
She HATED being in the window, so she covered herself up! Not spoilt, not this dog!!

This is for my Eastern Oregon friends, see, we were just outside of Pendleton at Stanfield. NOPE, this is in Arizona, honest!

Border Patrol, (again) shortly after this picture, dogs surrounded this car, and it was made to pull over, YIKES!!!! We once again got the GO....are we THAT touristy looking? YEP, GOOD!!!!!
There were a LOT of these(cows, for those who aren't familiar) on the way to Tucson, Bill got 'wind' of these before I did, thankfully!!!

I get tired of having this little pest on my lap, so we stuck her in the window, ain't she just the cutest???

This little birdie was very thirsty, and we didn't disturb him at all, thought he was cute!! Here we are heading out of Yuma. This was one of the "Park Model" homes and they had a beautiful bird sanctuary, there were a ton of 'em there!!

Talk about a motley crew, going backwards, these are some folks we met, 2 in Colinga, Calif., and the rest in Quartzsite, AZ. from right to left, Jan & Gary, Don & Jill, and Bud. You know the other 2 I'm sure!
