Cochiti Lake, in New Mexico #1

Howdy, thought I would start you out with a picture of Sassy, and her ice cream cup.  She gets REAL possessive with them, even tho Bill and I clean them out pretty good before she gets them!
How about some of these names, Oh My, there's Salem, oops,New Mexico that is, how about the one below?
Another name that is close to home, noooo, not Elephant Butte, but that is interesting, isn't it?  We have found that many Cities and towns are duplicated across the USA.
Here we are at Cochiti Lake, pronounced (coach~iti) and below you see our view of the lake from Whody.{ain't she purdy}  Also below is the first Loop we stayed in, That was Easter Sunday and we had so many families around us, it was fun to watch all the kids playing and riding bikes!
I know, I am obsessed with the sky, right??  Can't help myself, just look at that moon, can you see the face?? Bill can't, I can, na,na!
The restrooms were so nice and heated too, although we seldom use them we always check them out.  Below is the boat ramp where we saw this couple getting ready to take off in their Kayaks.
Notice the Dog, if you couldn't see the tail you would think it was our Sassy, you could tell it was really use to riding there, really cute.
A picture of the spill way from the dam.

And of course the ducks, always the animals.  Well, 2 pictures above
 this one anyway! ha ha.
We noticed this road that went to the right out of our campground and wondered where it went, you know, kinda like 'the bear went over the mountain?'  And below is where it went!!!

We saw this apple farm on the news later, there had been a big fire and now there was a mix up in the insurance and for some reason or other there was no water and all the trees were dieing.  It use to be a very famous place, but is now closed.
Here you see the road to Santa Fe,where we went to this great church.  Of course, leave it to us 2 goofballs, we parked in the back near the school.  It was a great place to worship and who knows maybe someday we will return.  I couldn't help but think that both our kids and their families could go here, they prayed in English, Spanish, and Creole.  It was superb!!
That's it for now, but come on back, the best is yet to come.  Until then, Hugs, Smiles and Prayers, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy
