Circled the Whody in Death Valley

Well, here we are in Death Valley, secure your wagons and make sure you have enough Victuals & water to make it across!  Well, a little drama is good for the soul, right?

,
Saw these guys heading in to go potty, aren't they cute?
Pulled into our campground to see this guy sticking out his tongue at us, isn't he just  cute?  Were gona go find out what it was all about, but he was gone before we got the chance.
This was looking from our campground, very beautiful view everyday.
Took a ride the very first day and here are just some of the things we saw, such amazing beauty.
I wish the colors could show on film the way they do in real life, it is just breathtaking!
The picture above was looking over one of the Borax Mining Co.  See the 20 mules?
We then went down into the mountains you saw above, and it felt like we had landed on the moon.  We didn't even have to go up in a space shuttle either. (chuckle)
Thought maybe we had seen some moon folks, looks weird, nope, just a rock formation..............
It was colorful, and yet not, hard to describe, just super to look at!!
Saw this and thought it was moss, Bill tried to crawl up to where it was, and he said it was just another rock formation of some kind.
And again, these beautiful red barrel Cactus were growing everywhere, not much sod here, but they look pretty healthy to me!
The next few pictures will be of some of the amazing rock formations.  This looks like a lava run.........
There were holes everywhere, of every shape and size!
This looked like cement, but was just a different type of rock, this is all in the same area, what a variety there was.  Hoppy, if you were here, you know how amazing this place is!
We had walked up Golden Canyon, where all the rocks formations you saw were, and as you can see Sweet William is enjoying his time here!
Don't know why this came out upside down, but this fella was really colorful, and was nice enough to let me take his picture, just looked at me like, Oh brother, another tourist!!!
These bushes fascinated me, but sorry to say I didn't find out about them.  The Orange color is the same bush. In later pictures I have them sort of half & half. Really pretty.
If you are smart, you don't buy anything in California, the fuel was to high, and in Death Valley a can of Spam is $4.99, so..................We went to Pahrump, Nevada, and of course, saw another bus.  Someones dream, down the tube.  Loved the windows, you could really see out, but the inside had never been finished.  So sad. :*(
Well, there is so much, and I have just begun, have 6 more to go, hope I don't bore you beyond, if I do, it is an easy fix, TURN ME OFF!!!! HeeHee
Guess this is it for now, so far our horses are fed and watered, campfire ready for beans, so until next time, Hugs, Prayers and smiles, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy
