Bryce Canyon

Hi!!  Lucy says, "Hey guys, we are almost to Bryce canyon, I can hardly wait!"
Amazing place, such beauty, these look like somebody dumped cement right on the top, don't they?
You go through this canyon before you get to Bryce, and talk about breathtaking, whoa!
Just look at those guys, standing guard duty, you would think they would topple, but they stand tall, just like our military guarding us!  Thanks guys!!
Went through 2 of these, but that's OK, they are short ones!
YEAAaa, here we are, BUT.........snow, guess we should have waited a while longer, but here we go anyway, so hang on!
This was so much prettier in person, keep looking down, it just gets better.
The vastness of this canyon is overwhelming,.....
Here again, they look like someone sculpted them, got them just the way they wanted, then poured cement over 'em to keep them there.  I know, my version. HA HA
We must have stood here for an hour, trying to count all the pillars, couldn't do it, I for one don't have that much patience!
Look at the different angles and colors here, add the snow and what do you have? GORGEOUS!!!
The couple above, who lived here a while, said it was not easy finding cattle in a place like this.  Well whodathot!  And remember what I said about poured cement, I think it looks like that, how about you??
As we headed on up the canyon we found a really nice surprise, you can rent these guys and go riding here.  Bill and I are really thinking of doing this, not now, but get your fannys padded, cause if we do you will come along!!!!
Just thought this was a really pretty picture.
AAnd of course you know me and the critters, there were a lot of these guys around this valley.
Looks like he is hanging?   He was, and not afraid at all.
Don't know if you can see this guy or not, he is on the left, about in the middle.  He played with Bill for probably a half hour, Bill would throw a snowball, coming very close, and this little fella would duck, but just seconds later, there he was again.  So cute!
This is a natural hole, sorta like a tunnel for a bird, it was bigger than it looked.
We thought these 2 looked like heads of people, the one on the right an Indian, see his headdress?  And the one on the right looks like some one whose head was just big above his eyebrows.!
This looked like Dino the dinosaur, loved the rock formations, I could use my imagination over and over again!  I'm weird!
This  was the natural bridge, as you can see below.  You can go under but not over the bridge.
Another one I thought was just so pretty, looks like you can see to forever!
From here on, there is quite a collection of pictures, just ones I thought were cool.
How about the perfect white stripe around the middles of these cows.  Very picturesque!
I love old brick houses,
This tells you what it is.
GO UTAH!!!!  But with the fuel prices you maybe should think about it, NAW...go for it!
These are antelope, and only a few of what we saw, there must have been over 100!
This was in a little tiny town just out of Bryce Canyon, and it was at least 15cents cheaper than in the bigger towns, go figger!
Well, time to go, have about 2 more from this area.  We are now in the St. George, UT. area, but are snuggled in for the next 2weeks, waiting for an all bus rally next week or so, then we are on and out and about again, so until next time, hang in, hang on, and get ready !   Love, Smiles and Prayers, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy     PS:been away from Internet connections again, sorry.
