Howdy, think I finally figured this picture thing out, yeah, right! Anyway, here we are in Rogersville at the Byron Piggs, ready to start a rally, We spent Monday there, then headed for Branson Tue. morning, impressive amount of buses, approx. 13, with others waiting already in Branson, to total 30. Great!!!
Course we all have to eat, so here are some of the ladies wrapping plasticware for our feast, good job gals, and yes, I did help!
Here we are in Byrons shop, just finished a super meal, and the fella in the red is Jeff Jefferson from Oklahoma, he has a half~eagle, it is an eagle, but not a bus, it is a motor home. Jeff has a business in Oklahoma City, that probably 80% of the buses has been to for work of one kind or another, and it is his birthday. He is a super guy, as is his wife Shirley.
Here is Jeffs birthday cake, ain't it purdy?? We like him best cause he buys the donuts for our morning coffee at all the rallys! HAHA
This is Shirley, Jeffs wife and Grandson Jake, as you can see, Sweet William is in line for the 2nd time, there is always more food then you can ever eat, but what fun!
Here we are in Branson, Heelp meeee, this big baboon is after me!!, Oh forgot, the one he snatched was a skinny blond, right? Whew!
You are now looking at the very first bus we brought home to convert, myself I'm glad that he changed his mind and got an Eagle, I am rather partial to Whody!!
After Branson we headed to ANOTHER rally in Carthage, Mo., and went to the town of Mt. Vernon, Mo. to the apple butter festival and found this little guy, isn't he just the cutest?? But....$40. is a little to much to pay for a coconut, right?
Now here is a real Southern treat, they do love fried everything. Can you believe I didn't even try these, me neither, but below is the reason why.....
They had prime rib sandwiches and they were soooo good, I ate the whole thing and couldn't even think of desert, I also didn't think the "treats" would be good cold, so I passed 'em up, aren't ya pleased with me? I sure am!
I so hope you enjoyed my Great Grandkids, aren't they cute? My daughter was trying to help me figure out the picture thing, so we both get a treat! We are now sitting in Jasper,TX in a Corp of Engineer Park, on a lake, and it is wonderful, only $9. a night for 50amp and water hookup, no sewer, but we can live with that, no problemo! Next stop, Pharr, TX for the rest of the winter, but do have at least one blog left, maybe even 2, who knows! Sooooo until next time, remember, life is a lovely bunch of coconuts! Hugs, prayers and Smiles, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy
