Although I understand they are much better now, I would NOT like to go into this door and close it, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, it makes me wanna puke just thinking of closin' myself behind this leetle, teeny door!!!!

This isn't a very good picture, but is the suit they use to wear to go out of the submarine. Hey, I don't need a suit to look like this!
This picture cracked me up! How about some kind of ride, I was told they have changed a lot since this picture was taken, looks like a big old whale! Can you imagine being inside when they surfaced??
This told your speed, depth & stop & go button.
AHHhhhhhh.....how would ya like to put this puppy on, although I know a few folks that should wear one all the time! (Just kiddin')
Isn't this the cutest, it was really worn for parades and such, and belonged to a submarine fella.
Here we are in the captains seat of a sub, notice the pole,it was the telescope to look out, and of course Bill had to try, but it was broken, usually you could actually see out to the water! Talk about being disappointed, He was!
Now here are some friends, saw them as we were driving by, so thought I really wanted a picture, and they were quite kind, they posed for me, but after that took off to go get more nest stuff.
There's Whody, all tucked away in the neatest park. They actually have their own little deer, as well as other animals!
I wanted you to see how friendly the animals were here. You aren't allowed to feed them, but they are really cute.
A short walk and we were on the water. Pretty isn't it!
And the birds, OH MY, I hope you can see the cardinal on the sign that says no swimming? They also have a resident alligator. He is just a little feller, but I still wouldn't wanna swim with him!
Hey, Hey, take our picture, pah~leeze, we'll pose for ya, yep, yep, come on, come on!
Then, in our brochere it said to be sure and go to Folkston, Georgia to the railway station. So we went, and can't say I was to impressed. Maybe we were there at the wrong time, but went inside, the gal barely looked up, so we asked here if there was a museum here, she said yeah, back there if ya wanna look! There wasn't much to look at, but guess at a certain time of year this place is booming. All trains from every direction HAD to come through Folkston years ago, and once a year there is quite a crossing extravaganza here.
These are black headed buzzard, have never seen them anywhere else, they do look a little more presentable then the ones with the red heads.
Loved the name of this town, Hoboken, Georgia. Below is their court house.
I DO love the old court houses, how about you??
We drive to all parts of the town, how about this?? Love the pink! There is a lot of color down here, have seen purple orange, and mixed colors on houses.
Now I ask you, do you see the humor in this picture?? I laughed and laughed, but Bill just didn't get it!!
Here we are at the Hoboken Jail, one of the last places there was a hangin' in Georgia.
Here is the whole jail, got my pictures backwards, sorry. We spent 2 hrs. driving all over Hoboken to find this jail, finally stopped at a mill and asked one of the fellas, he scratched his head a little, then said "ya'll cain't mean that ole brick buildin', that ain't got no history bahind it, but ah'll show youse war it is". in the pamphlets they make it out to be a big deal. The towns folks had no idea!! Isn't life funny?
Found a yard? in Hoboken, and this old bus was in it along with a WHOLE lot more. Have never seen the likes, you could find almost everything. Bill wanted to get out and look, but was afraid he would be met with a shot gun, and I was afraid I would never find him again!!!
Now this was funny, remember we are in the south, and this kind of thing is frowned upon because most are black, but this family cracked me up. Notice these are white, it was a black family!!
Loved this church, it was sitting so serene, with the graveyard right beside it, as are many in the south and I loved it!!
