Purtys from the Florida Coast!

Hey all, here we are on the Florida coast, at Panama City Beach, like DUH, you can read, right?,it was so nice, there were sailboats everywhere, as well as lotz of other kinds of boats, so we decided to stop and visit for a while!

Stopped at a state park, Bill washed the car whiles I visited with a cute little neighbor....................

Then we took a stroll down to the beach to see what was going on, and boy howdy, was it ever goin' on! There were 2 guys making sand people on the beach, practice for an up and coming arts festival. The characters looked pretty good to us, but according to these folks there wasn't enough 'detail' to win anything, can you believe that?? How amazing!!

The folks down here have a saying, "where there is a will there is a way", these 2 gals were headed for the beach the only way they could get there, YOU GO GIRLS!!

This was our spot at the State park, pretty cool, we sat right on an inlet with birds and boats and sand, oh my!

This is one of the things you see in this beach town, HElppp,we're sinking...........Naw, just a Ripley's believe it or not, with a theater in it as well, but it was impressive, it was huge!

On the other end of town was this really cool pirate ship, it was every bit as big as the 'sinking ship', but it was a restaurant & bar, a swash bucklin' ship if I do say so Matey!! Notice the white on the side of the road, yep, you guessed it, sand!

Hey, can you believe that is me on that beach without any shoes?? I do not like sand, 'specially on my feets, but the sand here is sooo different, almost like powder, and white as snow, I LOVED IT! Bill and I walked on the beach for hours looking for shells, and unlike the Oregon coast, there were lotz & lotz of 'em, had a hard time leaving most of 'em there, but had ta, no room in Whody! Sniff..............

Just take a gander at that Ocean, such a purty sight! Here is Sweet William, looking for those shells I was talking about earlier, talk about a retirees dream, this is it for sure, we spent a lot of time doing this, it was amazing!

This is the road we had to drive on to get to the state park we stayed at, poor Bill, thought he was gona have a coronary, didn't want to take Whody waayy out there, but good 'ol gal she is, she just pulled up her tires a bit and boldly headed down the trail! Yeah Whody! So far, Florida has been amazingly beautiful like this, hope it continues, us too, so far so good, forward march!!!!!!
