HI!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, This is a funny way to do my blog, I am going through a program called Picaso, and can only put on 3 pictures at a time, so there will be several blogs of the same story, bear with me, so I can catch you up on some of it until I can get this thing figgered out!
Here you see our friends the McAleers bus, it is a 4104 greyhound bus and is done all in the style of the 50's & 60's, fun! We are on our way to Indio, California to an FMCA (Family Motor Coach Association) Rally. Don't you just LOVE that road? Beings it was our first time, Bill and I worked hard to make Whody as purty as some of the other buses we knew we'd be seein'. Bill cleaned the wheels whiles I shined the counters, cleaned the bathroom and polished the floors, they were shi -ny, we worked hard I tell ya. Got my cute little planter set just inside the door on a rubber mat, so that when the first person came to check us out we was PURTY, and off we went. Got to Indio, thinking how cool we were, and just before we got to the fair grounds, McAleers went through the light, it turned yellow, and Bill put his foot hard on the brake, I heard a noise, and low and behold, here came the table and chairs, and it pushed my little planter right down into the stairwell, smashing it to smithereens, with all the things that were on the table, salt, pepper, pens, etc., so our grand entrance to the Rally was to stand outside, and with the help of our friend Cindy, brush all the dirt out on the ground and clean up, I was very embarrassed, and you know it takes a bit to embarrass me, until one of the gals that was checking us in laughed and said, that same thing has happened to me, it just goes with the territory! Now you folks know that I am NOT blond, but I was that time, I used furniture polish instead of floor polish, it shines really nice, and is very good to use, ON FURNITURE, DUH! Poor Sassy could hardly stand up!
This is one of the pretty Eagle buses, it was "The Lady", and the lady that owns it shares her birthday with Elizabeth Taylor, she even looks like her. Really nice people.
Whiles at the rally we got to hear a wonderful group called the "Frustrated Maestros" They are folks that use to play in bands, and now come together only for this rally. They play from 7am (YAWN) until 9am, whiles we were having coffee and donuts. The best part was that after every session, they brought out the American flag as well as the flags from the different branches of the service, we all stood and saluted the flag and sang the National Anthem!! How Wonderful to know there are still folks in our country that are so patriotic! They were super, played music from the '30's, '40's, & '50's, and did it in a Grand Way.
Well folks, this is the first part, so come on back, I am going to bed, it is almost midnight here and I am pooped. Will put on another part sometime tomorrow, and will keep trying to get back to the old way. Love ya all, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy
