This was at the last place we stayed in Oklahoma, it was a storage unit and truck repair shop as well as an RV spot. As you pulled in there were 2 huge Newell Motor homes just sitting there empty, and on each door of the unit there was a different painting of an RV, and the time of its beginnings. I put them all on here because they were sooo cool, someone is really talented!
This would be approximately when we started, a little before this, but not much, and in a trailer somewhat like this!
Never had one of these, but understand they are really nice.
This was an oops, guess I missed not having one, so put it on here twice, actually I was watching a basketball game and not paying attention, that's the real truth!
Had one of these, and that was the approximate time, WHOA, these guys are goood!! Snicker
Here is a Newell, looks like that year anyway!
And moving on up, not a bad likeness of a Newell!
I do believe these guys know what they are talking about, hope I'm not around, but if I am I wouldn't mind moving up a little!! As long as we can keep on seeing amazing stuff!
Now here is a really cool bus, saw this in Oklahoma City and just had to take a picture!
This was the Memorial of the bombing in Oklahoma City, this is as far as we got, had our Sassy girl and they wouldn't let us take her in even if we carried her, it was to hot to leave her in the car so we left, but it is truly amazing to see!
Across the street is a church and a little park,it was a memorial to the little kids that were killed in the bombing.
This was the biggest Kaw~liga I ever saw, they said he was Cherokee like my Dad Chuck, so had to take a picture of both sides of him! Cute, huh???
Back side of 'ol Kaw~liga
Now I ask you, does this tree look like it's whistlin'? NAW, it is just plain SCA~~REE~MIN', Old Whody was Rockin' & Rollin'down the road, Bill was holdin' on and driving very carefully!!
We are now in a little town called Fowler, Colorado. We stayed in a cool little RV park, the man greeted me in over halls, and didn't have a tooth in his mouth, cracked me up! He met me outside of the office where there was a pulpit type thingy, and smiled his toothless smile and said, Howdy, I brung this here paper outside just fer you 'cause I knew you was special! Guess the man was off his trolley or they don't get many campers there, he was a kick!! Anyway, this was the old train depot, and I couldn't help but take a picture of it!
This sign cracked me up, never seen one like this before, guess no "old foggys" can drive here, maybe somebody like George Jones got stopped for not drivin' his John Deere mower fast enough, do ya think???????
This cross was HUGE, it was all made of metal and you could see it for miles. Quite an attraction!
This is a good place for these, put them on to show that they use these other places as well as Oregon !!
TA~~DAH!! Whody before, with her skirt down around her ankles, and..............................................................................................................................
Here she is , showing her ankles, we had her raised up 4", she no longer hits every bump, yippee! She now floats along, bounces less, and is much easier to handle, 'course that could be because our wallet is MUCH lighter, who knows! It was well worth it, we are happy and so is she, no more hitting here bottom on the ground, kinda humiliating for a gal, wouldn't ya think?
Now isn't she just cute?? This is where she stays most of the time now, she is more comfortable here than on my lap, and cooler too! When she gets to hot I put her in the shower, close the door, turn it on, and when she is good and wet I turn off the shower and tell her to shake, then let her out, she has learned to shake really fast!! She does like the way it cools her down tho!
This was a building in Denver,Colorado that I took as we whizzed by, thought it was pretty cool!
Talk about squished, we could barely put out our awning, but spent only one day in this spot, then moved to a spot on the river, same RV park. There was a big stump in our yard so that we couldn't put out our chairs, when we got by the river it was grand! This was in Loveland, Colorado.
Well folks, we are now in Ennis, Montana, and heading home on the 6th of July. Have pictures galore and will try to get more on. sorry about being missing in action for a while, have plugged into the RV parks WiFi, so at least got one caught up! Love, Hugs, Smiles and Prayers to all, see ya soon, Arlette & Bill too, and the happy Sassy!
