The entryway, can't get much better than this, can ya??
Walking down the halls, and there were many, had to leave breadcrumbs so we wouldn't get lost, you saw many different things, some had shops you could spend your money on, others had conference rooms, etc.
The pool was magnificent, to say the least, although there weren't many folks actually IN the pool, there were some that were sunbathing!
This was the first pond we saw as we took the 'Old Hickory' path, notice on the right, the ducks, Bill had to point them out to me, didn't even see them, duh, but isn't it purdy??

Now THIS is a pretty waterfall, although it is man made, it was very soothing, am sure the guests loved it, 'specially at night.
This made me feel like I was in a glass jar, waiting to grow and bloom, Lord knows I don't need to GROW, but I am blooming every day.(no, not a bloomin' idiot either) Again, it was amazing and I give pats on the back to the people who work so laboriously to keep it this gorgeous!
This was sooo pretty, there was a small convention going on, and all were in the little rooms on the sides, so whiles there was no one around I took this picture, soon after folks came streaming out and were all over.
PRETTY~~ Bill and I laughed, we had never seen such a scrawny Cypress tree, but as you can see, its little bottom is beginning to spread out, just like the rest of its family. No way could I capture what was in the innards of this hotel, amazing!
OH, NO, shipwreck, not really, if you look in the left had corner you will see folks waiting to take the little flatboat down the river, kinda like the San Antonio River walk, but it cost more here, funny, huh?
They had buildings within buildings, all kinds of boutiques and shops, sure glad I'm poor and live in only 40ft of space, they had a lot of great stuff! However, most of us have more 'STUFF' than we need!
I have no idea what these plants are called, but have called them 'little boy plants' from the first time I saw them, I know, I'm weird, always have been!
I thought this was a pretty plant and flower as well, can't remember the name of this either, just remember that Bills mom Fern use to try to grow them, with little success. They were all over and she would have LOVED seeing them I'm sure!
Parking????? Don't think so, we parked in the Applebees lot and walked, it was hotter than horse feathers, but the hotel was cool and we were sufficiently cooled off to walk back, and it was worth the trip!!

I had to take this picture, I have always loved limousines and wanted to drive one, but not agreeing with some of the things that go on inside of them, decided not to even apply! This was a young persons party of some kind, pretty cool!
Well, again I hate to leave you, but I am behind on this blog, soo TTFN, Love ya all, headed for Memphis!
Hugs and Prayers, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy
PS: Not didn't go to the new Opry house, Am not a fan of the new country, and the Ryman was more than enough for me, besides, it really was quite expensive and the Riverboat was lotz more fun! SMILES!!
