FUN CITY

YEEHAW, Here we are in Branson,Mo., and if you are thinking of going there......well, do it!, but do get on some kind of tour, there is so much there to see. You are looking down the main street of Branson,at 7:30am, usually you are lined up and it takes you forever to get anywhere!
Here is a picture taken from 'Inspiration Tower', and the water tower you see , we lived beside it whiles there!

This is the Dixie Stampede put on by Dolly Parton, it was amazing and one that nobody should miss!! We weren't allowed to take pictures, but I didn't realize it for a while and got this picture of the chicken rider. So funny, they brought out little kids about 4 or 5 and had them chase chickens into a pen. You could tell these chickens were use to it, you could hardly get them to move. The North was pitted against the South, even our servers wore Union or Confederate uniforms, we were sitting on the Union side, and WE WON!!, guess that doesn't always happen that way, but it did that night. It is more than worth going to, at the end, Dolly, or a movie of her, comes on and tells us that we are all one now, the USA, and then another part with riders on horses wearing red white and blue, with flags. Beautiful!

There we are in front of the Titanic, when you board they give you a 'boarding pass', when you have gone all the way through they have a list of people that actually were on the ship, and you find out if you made it or not. I was in 2nd class, I MADE IT, and Bill was a top crew member, and He MADE IT!!! A bit spendy, but well worth it.Here you see a broken house, the worst earthquake in the US was in Missouri back in the 1800's, WHO KNEW???? Now here ya go, saw these when we entered our campground, "Hamster Ball" says I, and I was sorta right. For $25. you could roll down a hill the length of our campground, then they load 'em up and start all over. Not my cup of tea, I ain't no hamster, but they were busy the whole time we were there!

Now this, they load you up, and shoot your silly body up past the towers you see to the left. These tower had lights on to warn the planes, and was busiest at night. YEP and you went waaay past the top of the towers. It is something I would have done when I was young, but NO MORE!!!!

Trussed up like a flyin' chicken, NOPE, HUH~UH, NO WAY!!!!!

This one wasn't as high, but you were " sproinged" on yer belly! We could see both of these from our campground. By the way, we stayed at "THE PEA PATCH" bless our little peapickin' hearts!!

Took these out of the car window, thought they were both really cool and that you would enjoy them!

Saw this sign in New Orleans, for real!!

Here I am with Bill the Duck! His name is Bill, and all the passengers names were Bill because....ducks have bills! Go figure!!

Gettin' ready to splash down in the water, our driver, 'Stretch', because he sometimes stretched the truth, went in really fast, and the folks in the far back got soakin' wet, it was quite warm, so it was OK.

Cool picture huh, this is the big splash, am I the only nut case that would take a picture like this???? YEP!!

Once we were in the water the captain let all the kids that wanted to, drive the duck, they loved it and he was a really good captain!

y went

This was another "Duckie" in the water. We all got duck bills to quack whenever the others went by. It was really fun and relaxing because you are out on a huge lake, Tanycomo, and there are other boats and jet skis everywhere. They also have a riverboat, not near the size of the one we went on in Nashville, but it was pretty to look at!

See, pretty, also gave cruises, for a price anyway.

OF COURSE..... went to a car museum. Isn't this just the cutest? They had several for sale at an enormous price, so this picture is all we got!

This use to be Bills favorite car and I use to just hate it, looks like a bathtub, I said, but now it isn't to bad sorta pretty!

AC Cobra, pretty cool lookin' machine, couldn't resist putting this in!

OH NO, here we go again, one he can put under Whody, but as you can see, he is reading the price. AHM.... don't think so!!
Well folks, again, there are hundred pictures I could put on here but am sure I have bored you with all that I put on, so will close for now. We had a ball in Branson and hope to someday go back, it is like a huge Disney land with no lines, pretty cool! So See ya, Love ya, Smiles, Hugs and Prayers, Arlette & Bill too and the Sassy. She got to go for long walks every night!
