Hi, here we are at the "CAT WALK", a trail of 1.1miles, with the first half mile being easy and accessible to almost anyone, the second mile, was NOT, I repeat, NOT a piece of cake. It was a straight up challenge with steps made for Paul Bunyan, or at least skinny YOUNG people, but as you will see, it was great! Come on along, breathe the fresh air and feel the pull on your legs, you'll love it!

Even Sassy loved the walk, she trotted on this ledge for quite a while, no gravel, she HATES gravel!!

Water falls were everywhere, and HUGE rocks, it looked like someone had placed each one in a special place, and if you moved even a pebble it would all come down!

Bill took a few little side trips whiles I was deep breathing, here he climbed up on a rock!!!!

Me? Says I, not on your life, pant, pant, cough, wheeze ,gulp!

This is just a little idea of what the paths were like, one was easy, but that stopped at the half mile marker. About here, the three~quarter marker, Bill says," let's turn around, you've had enough, right"?

This was a tree I saw at the 1mi. marker, don't know what it was, but the little balls looked like pine cones and felt like it too! I was surprised that I could see or feel, Bill asked if I was ready to quit, NO WAY!

There it is, the 1.1mile marker, I made it, with Bill behind me all the way!

The views like this were so relaxing, and they had 2 places where you could actually sit and just listen to the water falls and the birds, it was Wonderful!

This is the view down from the "swinging "bridge, not scary, just fun!

The sweet Sassy walked the whole way with us except where there was iron cross bars, and let me tell you, usually she rides in my lap, but she went straight to the back and crawled on her blankie!!

I'm almost down here and you can tell that I am POOPED!!Was doin' my best to finish the walk, Bill had my camera, I should NEVER let that happen, my mouth was open to get oxygen, ain't I cute!

I made it to the swinging bridge, but gotta tell ya, it wasn't much of a swinger, but it was fun!

We went through this water, that was over the road when we came out, and Bill stopped so I could put my feet in it, What a treat, it was ice cold, my feet were so hot I couldn't feel it until it hit my ankles, all I could say was AHHHHHhhhh! We were all tired, but what a wonderful day we had, got home after dark, but recommend it to anyone who is willing! It is SOOoooo worth it!
Well, hope you enjoyed the walk with us, and come again when we find the next fun thing to do!. We loved it, even if I did whine, pant & puff a lot! Sooo, see ya next time, Love, prayers & Smiles, Arlette & Bill too,& the very happy, very tired, Sassy
