Welcome to TOMBSTONE, AZ.

This is a picture from our campground, and about 2 steps from Whody! Breathtaking!
Well Howdy Pardner and welcome to TOMBSTONE, AZ. I have done this blog in 2 parts,so don't stop reading, keep on going until you reach the end. Not being real smart with this here mo-chine,I have to be kinda clever! The pictures refused to load on the first blog, so I in my cleverness, started over! I do have more, but it is taking at least 5min to load each picture, it is going on 11pm here and I am ready for bed. Tomorrow night I will be back with pictures from BOOT HILL, totally awesome, says I.

This blog is beginning and ending in words here, but do hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy doing it. Bill & I had soo much fun, spent the whole day like 2 kids in a candy store! It's a such a great town, if you ever get this way, Stop, you won't be disappointed! Having said this, we both wish you a wonderful rest, Smiles, Love & Prayers to all! Arlette & Bill too, and the lonely Sassy. (She had to stay home~~ AGAIN)

KAW~LIGA was a wooden Indian, standing by the door, do you know the rest of the song? Yeah, it's old, but so am I! PHttttt!

I LOVED this shirt, hope you can read it! Sounds like a good idea to me!

This was the most authentic town, locals in costume were everywhere, we rode on an old trolley, but missed the stagecoach! Dog-gone it anyhoo!

The jail didn't help this guy, he was accused of killing 3 people, but a vigilante group didn't like the sentence that was handed out, so they broke into the jail, and hung him from a telegraph pole, only to find out later that he was NOT GUILTY!!! Bet they felt guilty for a long time!

The jail that was used, but not secure really!

This is the Tombstone Court House.

Of course there is always the wonderful "Powder room", right?? Can you imagine going in to leave a deposit in 110* weather? But......when ya gotta, ya gotta!

Here is another one of those Hiney washers, If a cowboy wanted a real bath, sometimes the horse trough worked! zowie, I can hardly wait!

Although this is a picture of call girls of the age, it was legal, most of these girls have more on then our teenagers do today, sad, huh??

This guy was tremendous, his part as Doc Holliday was so good. Doc. was always just a little bit drunk, which he did very well, but in this picture he was "waxing poetic", he was funny too!

Love is in the air, but gets thwarted, Tom was the one shot who didn't have a weapon on him!

OOPS.......Wrong picture! Sorry!!

The guy in the yeller pants was all ready to take on the Earps & Doc., but ran when they pointed their nice weapons at him, and he didn't stop, went home, even though his brother was killed, and his brother didn't even have a gun on him! WHEW, wouldn't you like a brother like that? Me Neither!!

Whoo hoo, Doc Holliday was actually the one who started the shoot-out with his rifle.
This was an amazing production, good acting, 'specially Doc Holliday!!

Picture of the first school classes with their teachers, quite different from today! Aren't they cute tho., just like our kids were!!
