Keep going down, writin' is below!!!

Howdy to all, Tonight we are gona try something different. Thanks to my daughter Donna, she cleaned this mess up and got rid of all the 'gaters & such! Love ya Donna!!!!
Took a little trip on a road called Gates Pass, and ended up in front of this cool looking Castle!
Guarding it was this Huge Lion, and because I am a big kid, I just had to pet him, wanted to sit on his back, but because of a big Hiney,(mine) and because the sign said "NO", we decided to go inside & check it out instead ! First we found BUGS, lotz of 'em. All the pictures are above, so my experiment didn't work. Sorry. Found HUGE tarantulas,(live) Elephant beetles,(dead) and a cute little bug with a soft, fuzzy hiney, pink. Also found a butterfly that could be male or female. Wouldn't that be cool gals, if the guy got out of line, change over and smack him a good one!! Like we can't do that anyway! There were all kinds of butterflies, above is the front AND the underside of just one. Some are prettier on their underside. THEN....I discovered the skeletons, thought the snake was really something, but I really do hate snakes, and this little owl looked like he was about to do a Vaudeville show, really cute, so couldn't resist taking his picture! Then I saw it, this big handsome animal with the LOOOOng neck and Looong legs, next thing I knew , Bill was dragging me over to it and snatching the camera away from me and Voila!! I was photographed with a really amazing Giraffe! His skin was really soft, and beautiful, but don't think it would have let me do that if it was real.
Then we went into another part, it showed a bear in hibernation, they are soo cute when they are asleep, just like our kids, right?? And an Irish Elk, it had HUGE antlers, but they are now KA-PUT cause they were all killed off, never the less amazing, and a good sized Wooly Mammoth. As we walked along there were actual scenes , like the cat above, wolf pack taking down an elk, etc.
As we were leaving, we spent about 3 hours there, we walked over a rock bridge and there were millions of little fish swimming there. As you could see, you can't see them! RATZ!!
Soo we headed back to the campground and there we gave sweet Sassy a bath and then, sat outside under our awning enjoying the beautiful weather down here. Then, alas, although Bills maid came along, mine, the lazy sluggard, refused, so it was time to fix lunch. Even retired folks gotta eat, right??
For those of you who wonder how Whody is doing, GREAT!!! We are now sitting at Tucson, AZ, More about that later, and because of the dips going to the campground,(down here when it rains it pours, and those dips fill with water) We are told NOT to go in if there is any water at all, we broke off a bolt on our hitch for the car, so I drove from Gilbert Ray park to Tucson, about 25 miles. It is fixed now, I yelled so loud, didn't like NOT riding in Whody with Bill! I know, I'm awful!! I really do love those Big windows and sitting up so high, ya just see ever-thang!!!!!
