Howdy from Tucson, this is cousin Wilma, she just had her hair done and wants to make sure the world is aware of that. She wants to tell you about our day, so as you go down, she hopes you enjoy the pictures, and the chatter!
And over there is another TRUE native of Arizona, this little guy just sat and waited for his picture to be taken, and then headed down into his home where it was lotz cooler! Smart little squirrel, it was 87* today!

Another couple, like ourselves from Vancouver,BC.they travel 6 months a year. John was a ferry boat captain for years, and his delightful wife Sue did daycare for 30 years in anticipation of doing this. They also converted their bus.

We have found that out in this big old world, folks make do with what they have. This car had all these fronds from a palm tree strapped to the top, when ya don't have a pickup, I guess that's what ya do!

The flowers down here are just so pretty, not quite like those in Louisiana, but pretty dog-gone close!!

A cool Gypsy wagon!
And.... I LOVE this window in the back, Can't you just see us travelin' down the road sellin' our wares!!!!

For those folks who think of us a Gypsy's, this is how we would have traveled back then, that looks like fun!! Only until it got hot, then I'm gona be wantin' Whody and that great air conditioning!

Bill tried to get rich by panning for gold, Nope, weren't none, the dadburned mine went dry!!! Oh well, ya can't take it to Heaven with ya, so who needs it!

Was gona take in the Oprey, don't ya just love the round door, but it was closed tight, guess we weren't dressed proper!!

Thought we might take a stage-coach ride, that was until we looked inside. Can't imagine going very far on those old hard seats, hada be hard on the hiney if ya ask me!

That thar is the feller Ah'm after, he are gettin' rich with all that gold!

What ya'll see is a Southern Ba-el, don't I look good with an umbrella?

One thing for sure, that ain't Bill nor I sittin' there!

They even had a ghost town and a boot hill!

In side this little village was a really pretty gazebo. The whole town was quite authentic &pretty!

We just loved this Cadillac, Bill wanted to take it home! The door handles were pistols, the inside was cowhide, and there were rifles and Bull horns on the front, it was just a kick !

!

Today was a big FiZZ, everything we went to see was either closed, or not working. This is a village(western) that we found, but it didn't open until 4:30pm, so we just walked through. Soo, here are a few pictures. This guy was sweeping out the Tee Pees and the ground around it. That is his pickup, and on the way out we looked at his tires and they were so bald, Bill has more tread on his head than they had!
Well, as you can see, not much happened out here today, tomorrow we head down the road once more, to another town, new friends, and new adventures. You can all bet there will be a few more pictures, and my trap is never shut, I always have a lot to talk about. Sooooo.....Until next time. Be happy, keep smilin' don't shoot yourself in the foot with your pistol, and stay out of jail!!!! Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy
