Hi! The latest on us 3 and Whody! We are still in Pharr, but are more than ready to head for home, the temp. runs about 97* with humidity about 54%, but wait folks, that ain't the worst of it! #1, because of the Hurricane, the Internet isn't strong enough to send any pictures from here, there is water everywhere, and that is why the introduction, NOW can anyone tell me what it means????? Betcha can't, not unless you have been down here before!
Hopefully, tomorrow we are going to have passport pictures taken ,thought about shaving my head, or perhaps wearing a rag on my head, but was afraid they'd send me to a forin' country, poor Bill would starve to death,or get so sick of Mickey Ds, and I would like to think I would be missed!! Whew, guess I better go as just me, ya think?? They may not even do it down here, but we are gona try, cause we are headed for Mexico on Thursday, and I wanna come back, Ahhhhhhh, If you were here you would know what I mean, border patrol everywhere, had the cops in this yard today looking for a man who had tried to accost a lady, they were chasing him and thought maybe he jumped over the fence and was hiding in one of the buildings here! After a thorough search, He wasn't found and they went on. This is a regular occurrence here I guess. If a woman goes anywhere ,down to the mall, Wal~mart or grocery stores, ya gotta hang on to your purse, DON'T leave it in your cart, THEY WILL steal it! Bill & I went to Wal~mart today, I had my little fanny pack purse wrapped around my arm, just daring anyone to touch it, I have a little cast-iron dog in the bottom and I woulda lambasted any &*#@$*& that dared to touch it! Thought Bill was gona choke he laughed so hard, I WOULDA, but probably woulda colored my panties in the process, never the less I woulda hung on for dear life! They have HUGE towers in the parking lots, POLICE ones to watch the cars so the "Spanish Americans??" don't make off with your car. WHITE??? MINORITY down here fer sure!
But in spite of ALL that, the worst thing to me is......MOSQUITOES!!!!!!!!!!! Went outside to take the Sassy for a potty break, and YEOWW , them suckers come at ya like Jet fighter planes, dive bombing ya by the droves,Only the females bite,(wouldn't ya know it), and they do it with a vengeance, and they don't just bite, they drill ya clear to the bone until they get it all, even the morrow! On top of that, they hitch a ride on your clothes and just come on in! So far I have about 20 "CONFIRMED KILLS" to my credit, not bad, huh? But they got me on the left eye really good, I look like one of those big eyed gold fish, NO NOT THE BLACK ONES and of course Bill thinks it is a gas, soooo can hardly wait for pictures tomorrow, would you all like an 8x10? Okee~Dokee! However, despite everything, we have enjoyed the time with our friend Carol. After Thursday, we are headed home. So for those who pray for us, DO, Whody is using oil, about 1gal per hundred miles, and although Bill has done everything that guys who work on these engines have told him to do, she is a stubborn Lass with a weak stomach, or maybe she just hates our car, cause she just keeps puking on it! Aren't I awful?? Yep, sure am. Soo Pray, please, are heading home on Friday the 1st of August! In the meantime, keep smilin', stay healthy, don't do anything politically incorrect, keep your whistle wet and your hiney dry, ya hear?
