Hello, it's ME AGAIN, More picturesof Jefferson,Tx.

I'm sorry to say that I don't remember much about any of the houses, but they were so beautiful I just had to put them on. I hope I didn't bore you with them. Hopefully I won't miss doing my blog for a whole week. Should have gone to Karens, she could have helped me!
Lady Bird Johnson stayed here, often if I remember right.

A haunted pub, people have Photgraphed "Images" in the upper windows?

The Court House.Very Stately. The building next door had a tribute to all the Service people and POWs, really great, hard to photograph.

These mules were so cute, I just couldn't resist!

A Haunted Railroad car. It was a private car, and people have "seen" faces and such!

This was called "blood alley" cause so many people were killed there, and is believed to be haunted! Doot, doot, doot, doot............

These are some Historic houses, really beautiful. Notice: no foundation.

This was in the brick at one of the streets.

Karen,Destry & Jack Browns home in Jefferson, Texas

Bill was aghast that this was a NEW house, just being built, and NO FOUNDATION! Note the one next door too!

We headed for the local Museum, we usually do, where ever we are, and this one was quite good as you will see.

And of course you gotta have a Shirley Temple doll!

I do love my cupies, this one was so adorable!

Of all the dolls, this was the only black doll on the main floor. A real cutie!

This was a really neat looking mandolin, used a lot down this way.

Look at the desk, each side opened up, and inside were a bunch of cubby holes and places to file stuff. When closed it had a false front! Really neat. And of course a pipe organ, some what like Bills folks had in their home.

First computer in Jefferson,it cost them $20,000 at the time. Lot different than now, HUH?

This Bible was really old, and notice the words "The Original Tongues". We looked inside, and it was worded a bit different, but not drastically!

A uniform of the Civil war, and it didn't belong to NO YANK!

The Swastika was a sign of friendship, healing and other things to these Indians, Only Hitler made it a bad sign.

This was all hand carved, it was quite large and quite detailed! Really pretty! There were even ladies in the coach in period dress!

Notice the detail inside the coach!

For the ladies, this was a gown worn to a costume ball by one of the Society ladies. Notice the ruffles at the bottom. It was really pretty, I would have worn it when I looked like that!

This piano was Amazing! It was all mother of pearl inlaid, and the keys were the same. Just beautiful!

Bill had to see how the spinning wheel worked. Nope, didn't prick his finger!

All kinds of buttons from a by-gone era. This was only a few!

There's another one of those "Hiney" washers! Glad I got me a shower!

An assortment of Old light fixtures.

Bill just couldn't help playing with the old scale!

Butter churns, sorry Nan, not forsale!

This was the "Employees only" restroom.

This was our Restroom, it had an entry and ever-thang. Glad I'm not an employee!!!!

Where we waited to get a ride on the boat down the Little Cypress Bayou. Top notch accommodations, but it was really fun. There was a HUGE fan there to keep us cool.

This was about the only thing left from the civil war. It was an old ammunition bunker, most of the bridges and buildings were destroyed.

Front of the 2nd boat trip we took, this was down the little Cypress Bayou, and went past Whody! The feller said he had been admarin" thet purty RV ever tawm he went that a way!

They called these birds "Mood dauwbers" 'cuz they eeets skeeters real goood!
