A Day at Oatman

Hi again!
What a great day we had, Went to Oatman,Arizona, an old mining town, how interesting! We saw a gunfight, and lotz of old buildings that were used back then. There was a restaurant that had one dollar bills all over the walls and ceiling,amazing, some looked older that me, can you believe that? Went upstairs in the hotel and saw the "suite" that Clark Gable used when visiting there, and rooms that were pretty "high Class" back then. Oaties room, the lady captured bu the Indians, then traded to different Indians, then back to her own people, even had a shower and a place to wash, but to go potty you had to go down the hall! PURE LUXURY!!!! The town is so interesting,but we were surprised how many people actually live there, and make a living off us silly tourists! Then all of a sudden, here came the donkeys, so cute, and all wanting a bite to eat. They just roam freely and are not afraid of you at all. Some of the babies are a little shy, and stay pretty close to mama, but all are really great. There were lotz of people there, and some of the kids weren't to careful, but all in all we had a great time. I am gona put some pictures on to show you a little of what went on. The Cati's there are huge and quite pretty, of course I have always loved Cactus, the only plant I don't kill! Even Sassy had a good time!
Then we headed for Needles, But......NEVER got there, the road signs in Arizona aren't the best, so sorry Snoopy, maybe next time we go through here, and there WILL be a next time, absolutely!! We gave up and came home, ate dinner, then spent at least an hour in the outdoor pool, and the hot tub. Talked to some fellows that have been full-timers for 15years, and they wouldn't trade it for anything! They told us about a park in Williams,Arizona, so think we will got there when we leave here! So now it is time for peach pie and ice cream! YUM!
