FUN!

Hi, the last 2 days have been the best of our days so far. We drove all over Bullhead City and found Diesel, best price $3.86 gal, and just looked at the splendor of this country. After that we booked a cruise on a River Boat that took us down the Colorado River to the Davis Dam. The Captain told us all the history, and it was a gorgeous day, about 85*, and no, it wasn't hot, there was a breeze blowing. He told us that a lady, refused to leave her home so they could build a casino, until they finally gave her 2.5 million dollars, and a suite in the hotel with a balconey! She never got to live in the suite, but she went around the world 2 times before she died! Smart old gal I'd say! She went on the casinos money and it was ALL TAX FREE!! Today we headed for BullHead City, with the bus and to a park over there, lotz of pea gravel, but nice pads to step out onto, as well a wonderful swimming pool. Got all set up only to find that the 50amp plug in didn't work, the 30amp one did, and altho we couldn't run both airs and the microwave at the same time, we decided to stay, and they will fix it in the morning. It was 89* here, and not so much breeze, but swimming made it all better! Oh forgot to tell you ,we went for a walk this morning and I was moving over for some "elderly" folks, slipped on the edge of the blacktop walk, and down I went, right into the flowers and a very loving cactus, OUCH! My knee was skinned and bloody, but the worst was my dignity, when a young man had to help me up along with Bill, NOW who is the elderly one! Chuckle ,Felt sorry for myself for a while, but I'm a tough old gal, and by the time we got back home I was fine.Tomorrow we are headed for Oatman, Arizona, and I understand it is something else. Can't wait to see it. If we have time, we will go on to Needles, California, I want to see Snoopy and Spikes hometown. YES THAT IS A CARTOON, can't help myself, I love Snoopy!! We swam for almost 2 hours tonight and it was wonderful, can't wait to do it again tomorrow night! For those who wonder why we swim at night, with my fair skin I would look like a Lobster in all this sun! Any way, thanks for all your solid advice, we hope to see Lotz before we get to Texas! I'm pooped, anyone want to come do my dishes??? Aw Shucks! Love & Smiles, Arlette & Bill too!
