Mittry Lake, again

Here is what we looked at from our bus window most everyday whiles we were there.
Yep, hummers too!
Isn't this great?  Told Sweet William that he needed to get a fishing pole and do some "sit down" fishin', maybe, says he, someday, to much to see yet! Here we are, just sittin' in the sun, awesome.  Now you are looking at us from the rear, Whody looks HUGE next to Bob and Cindys 4104, Bob makes his bus, ( The Last Resort), kneel like a camel! cool!  He takes a long metal pole and lets the air out of the front first, then the rear, just the way a camel kneels.  Doesn't take much to entertain me, does it! 'Course most of you already know that! Even Sassy liked it, whenever we sat outside, so did she, she loved the warm sand, would not lay on the mat for anything!
Nap over, now a biiig grin with her new shiny toofs!
This poodle was so cute, came running down the hill, hit the water, took a big drink then headed out and back up the hill to his master. Hilarious!!
"If he can go in the water, I can too, you just watch me!"  We went for a walk and she just barreled into this water, I think she is becoming an outdoor dog, how about that!
We took a ride, and on our side of the river was this old dam, it isn't used anymore, Bill wanted to show me where He, Bob & Randy had ridden their bikes the day before.
This tells you when it was built, and although it isn't used anymore, it is quite impressive.. hang on, going for a longer ride......................................
We are now on the other end of the same waterway, this is in California.
You are looking at the Colorado river in California.
pCan you see the pathway?  The mountains you see are in Arizona, and the three guys rode their bikes over a mile across the whole thing.  There was water over this path in some places, in fact that is where Sassy was walking, but it wasn't very high, not hard to go in on a bike.  They are my champions, you go fellas! Sweet William was a tad tired when he got back!! ( 2 pictures above) don't ask me why, don't know! ha haWe weren't sure of the use of this building, but we believe it was used as a concession, tourist information booth.
Isn't this purty?  Looks like white lace, this is just below the dam on the Calif. side.
They must get a lot of water here, 'specially when it rains, not sure, but it pays to read signs down here!! HAHA
Whew, have gone all the way around the dam to California, are now back into Arizona and some beautiful Veggie fields.  Sorry, didn't put pictures on for all my farmer viewers. What a goose I am, the fields were gorgeous!!
Well folks, come on back for another ride around the Yuma area, we ain't done yet!  Until next time, Smiles, Prayers and hugs to all.  Arlette & Bill too,and the the happy Sassy  PS, some of these pictures are messed up, gives you all a puzzle to work with! (grin)
