Are you ready????............. Here we go, we are now entering the Cloud Museum, with, as you can see 110 plus vehicles and lotz more. Almost all of these vehicles run, and you can actually touch them, a hands on museum, Weehaw, Bill and Bob were almost beside them selves with excitement!!!! For 5 bucks you can touch??? Let's go........
As you enter, you cannot miss this great huge digger, it has so many handles inside, and the fella said it had other parts to do other things too, I didn't get to see them, but the fellas probably did! It looks like a dinosaur, doesn't it?
Hands on, lift the lids, push the buttons, ring the bells, use the crank, open the doors, wheeeee.........
Now, if Bill and I were living in the '30s, this would be our Whody! I thought this was so cute! Love the scalloped visor, and if you look real close you will see the 'arm' that is the turn signal!
As we venture inside, we see the bedroom, Sweet William didn't like the idea of bunks, you can bet he would figure some thing out! haha......But look at the drawers on the left, that is a dresser!
Oh yes, it even had a potty, notice the proximity to the bed, you barely had to move to do what had to be done, but I think I would sleep with my head at the OTHER end of the bed, how about you?Even had a regular sink in the bathroom, unlike some of the rigs today that have what we call, 'rinky dink sinks', you could actually wash up in this one!!
Look at all the drawer space, and above that a little pantry, I was so amazed at this little rig, it wasn't very long, but was fully equipped. As you can see, the driver had a regular seat, the passenger sat on a regular dining room chair, OH NO, not seat belts, ARgggg...
Here is just a little part of what we looked at, dump trucks, pickup trucks, you name, it they had it!Anyone know what this is? My friend Cindy didn't know, but I knew, makes me older than dirt! My Gramma use to use one like this to separate the cream from the cows milk, cool apparatus!
Here is the Entry station from Calif. into Arizona at Yuma, or vise~versa, thought it was a great picture!!
Introducing Jack, he was the cutest little guy, he followed us around and herded our shadows, yep, that's right, the owner said he loves to herd, and feels like your shadow behaves better than you do! He loved Sassy and wanted her to play, but she just growled at him, poor sport!
Bill & Bob saw this scale and had to check it out, hands on, right? Bob outweighed Bill by a little, I stuck my foot on Bills side and almost sent Bob flying, so funny!
Next Cindy and I got interested in the headlights, so took a few of the different looks. Bumpy...................
This one looked like the eyes were about half open!! I do miss the older cars, they had such style, the chrome was incredible, not like all of them today that look like cookie cutter cars!!
Need a tractor? They have a boat load of them, this is only a few, all makes and models. All run, can you believe that? Me neither!Thought this was pretty cool, I had heard of them but had not actually seen one, they had a bunch, they could light up the whole neighborhood!!
1 Thought this was pretty classy, asked Sweet William if we couldn't turn one of these into a hot tub, we could hook the whole thing behind our car, truck and all, he didn't even answer, just gave me 'that look', my kids know what I mean!
This is a once working windmill, they have it shut off because no one wants to crawl up and grease the wheel, they actually used it at one time!
Here you see the pump and the trough they used. If you take a look at this picture you can see all the "stuff" this place has, we spent almost 2hours there, and there was still lotz more to see. There are over 30 pictures on here and it is not even half of what I took, there were houses ,full of stuff, things that they say are old, they CAN'T be old, We have used so many of the things, Bill and I both agreed, WAHhhhhhhh how did this happen! Just kidding, if we weren't older we would still be working and missing out on all these glorious finds!!!! Unbelievable to think that all these things were invented pretty much in OUR lifetime! Are we good, or what!!! God Bless the USA and Americans!!!!
Time to come back to the 21st Century, so until next time, adios, chau, God Bless & Hugs, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy Oh yes, and to our family in Argentina, Brazos and Besos! (hope that's right!)
