Well Hello everyone. You probably thought I was gone forever, NOPE, not true. However..... Because of the problem with the computer, then the ID 10 T mistake I made. I am so far behind, and that stresses me out, and it ain't good for a gypsy to be stressed out, so am starting with the Florida Keys and going from there. IF I get a chance, will go back to Georgia and South Carolina, but please... Don't hold your breath, OK? Here we go...

The picture on the Left is just a small part of how beautiful it is on the Keys, these kids were having a ball feeding the gulls. We were eating dinner at an outside table when I snatched this quick picture!

This was on the Keys, In fact it was at Key West, I loved this dog, I talked to him and he just looked up at me with that sad face. It was a perfect day, and we were just walking along.

This is a scene you see all over, just LOOK at the water, everywhere you go there is just this beautiful turquoise colored water and beautiful houses, breathtaking!
Another thing that struck us was the colors of the houses here, LOVED It!! You see them all along the beach area, some are just rentals, others are peoples homes. Below is the railroad bridge that use to take you to Key west before the road was in. Notice the blue, blue, water, there are many bridges here connecting the Islands. We were on the Island of Marathon, the biggest Island and it is in the middle. Next trip down we will stay further down in a state Park. Already have it picked out!

I Am flying through, but hope you can get a little idea of what we did and what it was like. Here is David, he was our guide for the little White House, it was a beautiful place all done up in the 50's motif, and in my favorite colors, green and red, flowers too! Did you know it isn't really on the beach? There is a picture of President Truman playing the piano, and sitting, or lounging on the piano is Lauren Bacall. Bess told Truman he was not to play the piano in public places anymore, it wasn't "becoming for a President", WOW there were actuall morals in the White House back then!!!

Above all, as we walked the streets in Key West we saw a lot of the things below, CHICKENS, we had gone on a tram ride earlier in the day, and the guide said we could take all the roosters we wanted, just leave the hens alone, actually all birds are protected, so we couldnt even send home a rooster for any of ya!

Look at that cute baby!

Something else that really caught our attention was all the amazing flowers, trees, shrubs, etc. Never have I seen such beautiful flowers. Even orchids, lotz and lotz of them....................WOW!! The 2 colors in the picture below are one bloom!

Loved this couple, it is sooo Key West. Maria probably knows all about it, I just thought it was Romantic, and me, I'm a lover, not a fighter!

This is an everyday scene here, the boats, ski doos, canoes, kyaks, fisher people, and just plain sunbathers, although this was the coldest winter on record for over 40 years! Wouldn't you know we would pick this year, YEP!!

Ain't he cute, this is as far south as you can go, and as you can see, Cuba is only 90 miles away. There were so many people there, Sweet William had to just step up quickly, and even at that people were stepping up already!!

Here is one of the many cats at the Hemingway house. There are 60 in all, many with 6 toes, they are well taken care of. They own the place and they know it! Our guide wasn't the best, so we just headed outside and took a look around. The cats actually have a little house that looks just like Hemmingways house, cute idea!

There is a balconey that goes pretty much all the way around the second floor, and this is one of the scenes you see. Ernest Hemingway was married 6 times, and I am told he committed suicide, to many wives? No wonder you should stick with one, well... guess you could do that with one as well, I told Bill not to get any ideas! HAHA

Sorry, this cat looked so much like my Siamese of many years ago, just look at the attitude! Loved it!

Bill and I hadn't see a "THING" in years, much less a purple one, knew you would love this Donna, Dad & I did!

Being on Key West is a very different experience for sure. The next few pictures will show you some of the "wild? or weird" life that is there. It is sort of a 'do whatever hits you at the moment' place.I only put a few on, some were not blog friendly, if you know what I mean! We saw the young girl on the left all over town, and it was soo sad, her eyes had such a lost look, made me sad!

I took this for the pirate, he turned around and I got this. Couldn't figure out if it was male or female, but you get my drift about blog friendly.

MIC~~KEY~~MOUSE.. Yep, it is the Disney cruise ship, it was amazing, of course seeing a ship this big is amazing in itself, but this was super!

Got this close up, Hey, I grew up with Mickey! We watched this huge ship turn around in this port and head out, and when he blew his horn to leave, it played "When you wish upon a star", couldn't ask for anything better!! It was awesome. Saw 2 other cruise ships there as well, took pictures, but only so many can go on the blog .

Went to the waterfront called Mallory Square, where the cruise ships dock, and about 6pm the fun starts. There are jugglers, sword swallowers, tight rope walkers, all kind of vendors selling stuff. A small bag of popcorn was$4.oo, and in the words of a mom when she asked how much a small bag of popcorn was, "are you nuts?", his reply, a large bag is only $5.00. She walked away, and so would I have, but these guys were amazing to watch. You can't see the bottom of the ladder, but it is being held up by 6 guys from the audience. They did amazing things, we were both impressed with them. Some of the other acts were OK, but these guys were amazing!

Here is one of the sunsets at Mallory Square in Key West, pretty awesome. There were so many people that I got pushed in front of this docking deally, sorry, but it is pretty anyway. Actually, the sunset at our campground was lotz prettier, but duh.............. forgot to take my camera!!!!!!

Loved this, we watched this guy catch this fish and land, then I took his picture. He wasn't sure he liked that, but I did it anyway. Notice the fish is still kicking the birds tail feathers, it took quite a while for it to finally realize it was lunch!

Here we are just after we left the Keys and are headed for the Everglades, we had the St. Park almost to ourselves, seems like we came right at the end of the season, well lucky us! The next picture is just the same as the last, don't ask me why, although you haven't heard from me in a while, you know I'm flakey, just smile and say "Gee, they had a really cool camping spot", OK??

OOPS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Had to put this in, Bill took this picture of a dragonfly, there were millions of them, but I thought this one was pretty, and he did a good job with my camera!!!!

Well folks, I know this isn't the best blog, but I tried to catch you up as best as I could. We are now in the Everglades, and although is it different, it is by far our favorite place, so keep on comin ' back, will try NOT to do anymore ID 10 T mistakes. Forgive me for not doing the blog, but we have been in the middle of HOO HAW nowhere, and although sometimes I could do mail, it wouldn't give me enough to do the blog.

So come on back, I missed ya all. See ya in the everglades! Smiles, Hugs and Prayers, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy
