Stuff we be doin'

Howdy, to start out with, there are 15 units here on the Mission grounds, along with 4 resident houses, belonging to these 3 ladies, and this is where we play dominos, or any other games they have, and it is also where we eat, it will be where we eat our Christmas dinner. We are having steaks, on the BBQ, baked potatoes, onions cooked in aluminum foil, with butter and then add lime to them later, sounds gross, but I like cooked onions, so am gona try it, Bill just said "NOT ME"! Jello salad (lemon) with crushed pineapple and grapefruit sections, sounds awful but is really good, as well as the Klein cool whip salad, 3 kinds of pie,Pecan, Cherry and Chocolate, and who knows what else, lookin' forward to it! We plan on eating breakfast out, there will be 7 of us. Now ya know what we will be doing, hope your day will be full too!

We have watched basketball games played by the team of Macedonia Christian School, one of the ladies that live here is a teacher there, below is a picture of the boys just before receiving a 2nd place trophy. They were pretty happy because they were playing regular high schools, not other church schools, and of course most high schools have a lot of guys to choose from, and they don't.

And then there was their mascot, she was about 2 1/2 and so cute, they are the Macedonian Lions, and as you can see below, she was a little lion cub!

Her mom made the little outfit and she was adorable in it, although a little timid. They tried to get her to roar, and all she would do is "Meow".

Took pictures of weird looking bugs, Bill put this guy on a straw so I could get a good picture of him, he was a pea green and brown and funny shaped.

Went to a Christmas play, this is the Owner & Principle of Macedonia Christian School and his family, they sang a song called 'Christmas at our house', and did a great job, they all sang out, even the little guy.

These 2 are sisters, the younger one being adopted, sang 'Away in a Manger! Don't ya just love the polka dots, and the hair is natural, both had great voices and really sang out!

Can't remember what solo this little one sang, but thought she was so cute.

Then it was time for the young folks, here they are doing a little skit called 99cents.

There were 4 boys in all, but to hard to get all of them without invading the stage, they all played very well, the boy on the left has a Father who plays amazing classical guitar, and is teaching some of the boys at the school to play.

This handsome young man looked and sounded like he was right out of the 60's, and did it very well, he sang the 'Chipmunk' song "Please Christmas don't be late" , "want a plane that loops de loop, I still want a Hula Hoop" doubt the little guy even knew what a hula hoop was, but he sang every verse loud and clear, and didn't miss a word!!

Here are the grade school's getting in order to do their choir number, each in their "bestest" outfits and smiles as well.

Took this because I missed this little guy in the other picture, he looks to be about 4, but is really 7, had a virus when he was younger and it stunted his growth, but Dr. says he should be about average size when he gets older. He wasn't shy and really belted out those songs!!

Our biggest news is our new chairs, we no longer have the footstools in the middle of the room, and Bill is finally comfortable, he really didn't like the other chairs, made his back hurt, and he kept slipping down & out of the chair, that's because he has NO hiney to hold him in! His chair is a green Tweed. Does he look comfy or what??

The chairs are a bit bigger than our other ones, so were a trial getting them in, but between us we dood it, puff, pant, wheeze!!

An here is my chair, it is beautimus, and although I liked the other chairs, (my hiney WAS big enough to keep me in them) it is nice not to fight with the foot stools any longer, lots more room, so we said Merry Christmas to us, and will be selling the other ones in either Indio, Calif. at the rally, or in Quartzsite, AZ. at that rally, (hopefully)

So all 3 of us wish you (AGAIN) the best Christmas ever! Smiles, Hugs and Prayers, us crazy folks, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sassy
