SUNSHINE ON MY SHOULDER......................

Hi! Does anyone remember this song?????? Tonight we are in Brookings, Oregon and the weather is Maaavalus Dahling!!!!! How beautiful Rt. 101 is,but lets start in Corvallis! We stayed in a cool park called, of all things, the Blue Ox, aint he cute??? Then we headed out for Winchester Bay, went through a loooong, water~leaking tunnel, saw some amazin' big daddy Elk, and ended up at Winchester Bay, not with out incident however, the road to the! bay is quite windy, although our table has hardly EVER moved very far, it took a romantic trist with Bills chair, off came the light stuff, thank the Lord none of the sugar or other things went for a ride, and when we went back to the bedroom, Zowie, just about every book on the shelf decided to take leave of absence to hit the floor, I always put the pictures on the bed, "WHEW", but it looked like a small bomb had hit the floor back there! I know, I know, the fact that Whody ran like a top, no oil, no break-down, no heating up, my news is a bit boring, Huh? Well Sweet folks, NOT TO US, we are soo happy to be almost normal travelers, and these blogs could get to be very boring, so if I get redundant, you have your chance to just TURN ME OFF, bet you would love to do that, Huh? Betcha won't.

After a few rounds around the bay, we headed out for Brookings,Or. at about 10:30am, went over a bee-u-ti-ful bridge, stopped at a pull-off for lunch, got our sandwiches and sat outside overlooking the ocean, how cool is that? Saw a ship that suprised us because of where it was, and here we are in beautiful Brookings! The weather is 76*, have already gone for a walk, gotten the car washed, dinner is in the oven, eggs are cooked and ready for egg salad for lunch tomorrow, so it goes in the life of the full-time RVer! Not so exciting, and yet very much so, as we follow the road , once again toward Texas and parts south!! Thanks for listening, and although I am sure you enjoyed hearing about how Whody was falling apart, one screw at a time, she is in ship-shape now s nwith an L~10 Cummins, a working generator and heater, she does NOT heat up going over a mountain, and Bill i
