For those of you living vicariously though us, SCRATCH OFF LAST WEEK !!!!!! We arose Monday morning, (20th),took the Sassy out for a walk, and on the way back Bill said "I don't feel well today". THAT my friends was JUST the beginning! All of a sudden I heard noises, and smells that no one wants to hear or smell, Bills face, and other parts of him, were in the porcelain bowl in Whodys bathroom, and it stayed there all through the day, off and on, and me, being the good wifey that I am, but not wanting to get it, I encouraged him to drink water, when he did ,those sounds and smells started all over again, Whoopee says I, gona stay away from that boy for sure so I don't get it! YEAH RIGHT!!!!!! Did OK Monday, did OK Tuesday, but..............about Wed morn' 3:30am, I became very acquainted with the same porcelain bowl, and thank the good Lord, Bill was better by then, cause I needed a pan, and quickly, needless to say, my sounds and smells were much worse than Bills, and this went off & on for 3 days, "gona die" says I, "no you won't" says He, "wanna bet?" says I , "yep" says He, "I made it through, and so will you"! Well we both did, but let me tell you, there wasn't a clean pair of undies anywhere, and Whody smelled like the holding tank had blown up, INSIDE. Our bed smelled like that of the vagrant that wanders on the beach in front of us, and through all this, after the first horrible stuff, we got to laughing about how romantic it was to be this close, in this particular situation! Ya get REAL close, let me tell ya. We are still not feeling like bounding tall buildings at a single bound, in fact here it is a whole week, and I fixed the first real supper we've had in over a week, and it actually tasted great!
When we felt good enough, after stripping the bed, we got all the laundry out and done, so the worst of the smell was gone, and then the fun, I had to clean the bathroom! I let it go until I knew I wouldn't fill the bowl, again, and then scrubbed the walls,floor,cabinets, sink and the now amazingly pretty, Porcelain bowl.
So............. Now you know the whole sordid story of why I haven't been on the blog for quite a while, please forgive me, but if you don't , OH WELL!!
A fun filled, romantic, exciting week it t'weren't, but we are still alive, and hope to travel on as of Wed., heading for Cresent City, California and the beautiful Redwoods! So scratch off last week and come along, will be looking for you, and hopefully, no......absolutely, we will have a good time!
