REMEMBER THE ALAMO!!!! I was so astounded at how small it was, but what a place!! Back then it had to have been an outstanding fortress! We went inside the next day, but were not allowed to take any pictures, but it was amazingly put together, with rooms for everything from the cattle, gun powders & weapons, food, you name it! The grounds outside were cool too, surrounded by the walls you see in the second picture
