Whiles we were sitting there waiting, they unloaded 2 tour buses full of Black ladies, and what fun that was! Bill sat next to one lady and ask if they were "all together", her answer?"We is sho' 'nuff all black honey, but that don't mean we all knowed each otha", then she just howled! A bunch of them had on purple T-shirts with the name of a church and a scripture verse on it so I said to one lady, You ladies must be the "Prayer Warriors" in your church. She looked at me with an Odd look and said,"Oh NO chile, Ah jes go der, I don' cause no truble! They were all so cute, but some didn't like the boat ride because inside you can't see a thing, and outside it was raining a bit and to hard for them to stand on the deck.
This was the most amazing ride, we got to see a Tug helping a HUGE ship out of the Channel, and they were unloading a lot of the ships as well, and to a land lubber, it were REAL Interesting! The trip was about 1and a half hours, some rain, but mostly sunny, and Bill and I stood right up front! Well the old coot has headed for bed, so I'll leave you all for now and see you tomorrow with whatever we happen to do, not sure yet. Any way, glad that Blogger got back on, cause now I am caught up. Could have put more on, took 61pictures today, but put on all the best, just for you! Please don't worry about us, we are Well out of the range of the Hurricane Dolly, and intend to stay that way! Love to all & Smiles, Arlette & Bill too, and The Sassy Girl
