PICTURES

What better way to end this blog! Bill is gona have to roll me home, or get a crane of great size, but at least I'm having fun! Love to all and I am caught up to now! See ya, Arlette & Bill too, and the Sweet Sassy!
Our wonderful "Resort", looks good from here, but didn't take anymore picture. This was before I saw the horrible truth!!

Took a little walk at the State park, and this is what we found, Beautiful, HUH???

Here is Bill burning the ends of a BIG Bungee cord we will use to keep our refer from kissing the counter!!

Doesn't she look like an angel? Actually it was my camera lens, going from air conditioning out to 80*s at 9am!!

Whody nestled in at North Toledo State Park just out of Zwalle.

Everywhere you go in this area you see corn, tons of it!!

Whody all snuggled in at Nakatosh Park.

Our friends from Belgium's rented RV.

Walk of fame. There was also Dolly Parton and Sally Fields. The founder of Natchitoches also had one, but was to old and didn't photo well.

Walk of fame.Richard Holden was in this movie, but refused to stay in that town, cause it was a po-dunk town, so they refused to put him in the walk. FUNNY

The Trolley, not running, the boat was right behind it, not running, BAH HUMBUG!!

The Rogue, house & Sweet William.

A house built by Yves, a freed man of color, but named after the last person who lived there.

This was the inside of the freed slaves house.

This is Rocky, our horse and the driver.

This is the First Baptist Church in Natchitoches, there were 2 staircases as with the Baptist church in Jefferson. One side was for the ladies, the other side for the gentlemen, because it was not proper for a gentleman to see a Lady's ankles. How the times have changed!!

Those pillars are made out of brick, very pretty.

Had to put this on, Bill keeps insisting this is our Next vehicle, NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a headless horseman, this fella had all kinds of metal and other art in his yard, and although he isn't really recognized in town, people still ask. There is to much of it to ignore!

This was one of the Historical house on the carriage ride. Just look at those ferns, I worked so hard to make mine look like this, here they just do it!

This was our buggy ride, there was another couple with us,the ones from down by New Orleans, the driver took this and she was to far away!

This is an Authentic Gas lamp that was lit in front of a local restaurant.

This is the way the cotton was bundled, awful hard getting t to this point I was told.

There was a LOT of stuff in this place, you just wouldn't believe it! Go there if you ever get to Natchitoches, LA.!

Bill was beside himself with all these bins to go through! Like a kid in a candy store. Like I said, we both spent more than an hour here!

This was on the second floor, looking down at the first floor. Years ago there was another window that was above this and that is what put light into the store. They have since closed the top window. This was awesome!

There is the old cash register, still used today, although they do take credit cards your purchases are written up just like yesteryear. This is Bill paying for his treasures!

This was at the local bank, do you remember these? Didn't know anyone still used this kind of thing!
