Ever been in a Cotton Gin?

TEXAS,YEEE~~HAW Hi ya'll! Yep, we are in Goodlett Texas, and it is just wonderful here! About 80*,but with a slight breeze. We are a ways from the actual town, parked at the "Ole Towne Cotton Gin", and we went in to see the machinery that was used back then, as well as some antique stuff. The computer is sorta slow tonight, not sure why, we are on flat, flat ground for miles, but will try to put some pictures on of the inside of this place. This is the FIRST time we have been able to put out our chairs and sit down and enjoy the out of doors since we left home, AH..... THIS is living!
Left Tucumcari about 8:30am, and Whody just ran like a dream, 2 days in a row, scarey huh?!, we hope she doesn't let us down, as soon as we got over the border in Texas, it was like all the hills disappeared, BOOM! All of a sudden it got very green, with actual trees, and water too, it's been a while since we have seen much water, and it was great. Then we started to see cows, even saw a HUGE bull, just standing on a small hill staring at the freeway, maybe it was Ferdinand, but didn't see any flowers,(Sorry). TO Bills delight, he discovered that Texas is, without a doubt, JOHN DEERE country, YaHoooo... When we stopped for lunch we parked in an empty lot that had a 37 ford with actual bullet holes in it, and of course Bill had to check it out. We really didn't stop much today, but it was so pleasant just humming along, went about 250mi, and stopped about 4pm Texas time. This time stuff is hard on the brain and the body clock too. It is 8:30pm here, but only 6:30pm there,so at midnight it is only 10pm in our minds. Didn't think about anything like that, do now!
Anyway, will try to put some pictures on, they will be of a mixture. Hope you can figure them out. We will be in Bowie by noon tomorrow, and doubt I will do a blog, but will again soon, trust me! I love doing this, just hope you don't get bored! See ya, Smiles, Arlette & Bill too & Sassy, who saw a Siamese Kittie Kat next door and went ballistic! As for the cat, he just looked at her with a " you stupid little pest, my Lab could eat you for lunch!!" See ya!
